As avid and intrepid golfers living in different parts of England, we often find it a real struggle to seek out the courses that best fit our requirements. What rankings are available are rarely updated, with typically only the most historic and often prohibitively expensive courses given an official rank. Newcomers to such lists are a rare beast, leaving little to differentiate or recognise the vast majority of courses across the British Isles.

The Golf Course Awards seeks to fill this void, offering an independent assessment of the very best golf courses, uncovering excellence across a diverse and modern range of criteria and categories. We will consider all 2500+ active golf courses from across the British Isles, with lists and awards that identify outstanding courses for different occasions, ability levels and agendas.
